Supplement with Hog mix.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We feed ours rice cooked with potatoes and banana skins (from the daily smoothie), plus any leftovers, peels, etc.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Approx. 1 lb a day for each hog.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Keep hogs in a wooded area with filtered sunlight.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Give hogs clean water daily.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>They love to burrow and root and dig holes.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Give them hay to build nests in the holes.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Hogs will dig deep holes for nests to keep warm in the winter.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>In warm weather fill one or two holes with water.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Bury a kiddie pool to keep the water on the surface.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Hogs like to lay in the mud in the summer to keep cool.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Hogs prefer to be under cover when it rains.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Provide a tarp or roof for covered shelter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">To breed Hogs, move the female into the pen with the male.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Gestation for hogs is 3-3-3.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Three<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>months, 3 weeks and 3 days.
