Hilltop Garden<\/em> – full with strawberries and Austrian Winter Peas. All<\/em> the animals love those winter peas!! Need to plant more! \u00a0Here is the original Tractor One that we move around the Hilltop Garden. \u00a0The resident Orpington chickens are in charge of weed control!\"IMG_3969\"<\/p>\n

West Veggie Garden<\/em> – \u00a0Looking through the \u00a0Bean Wall where the hyperactive lima bean vines grew this year. \u00a0(No beans to speak of, just vine!) \u00a0 The Pigeon Pea Hedge is visible with the kiwi vine beyond. \u00a0No kiwi as yet, even though we have male and female plants. \u00a0The rabbits love the pigeon pea<\/em>…ducks and chickens not so much.<\/p>\n

North Orchard – One more Hibiscus to harvest then chop them down. Some of the flowers got moldy…probably left on the branches too long. Hard to keep up.<\/p>\n

Tea Garden & Orchard<\/em> – The Tea Garden needs spiffying-up. \u00a0The pink whirly gigs, parsley, and blue fescue grasses are all gone. \u00a0 The thyme didn’t do much this season…probably because it has been so dry. \u00a0 \u00a0We have not had any rain to speak of all year so far. \u00a0We only got a 1\/2 inch in Hurricane Hermione!! \u00a0But, Marjorie is in full bloom…lovely.<\/p>\n

Shade Garden<\/em> – beautiful Cattleya Orchids this season…6 blooms!!<\/p>\n

Greenhouse and Seed Starts<\/em> – planted Basil, \u00a0Hot Peppers, Banana Peppers, Creepy Thyme, and Sorrel Hibiscus. \u00a0Out of all that 1 Hibiscus germinated. \u00a0It’s us against the squirrel. We sow the seeds and he digs them up as we sleep! \u00a0The seeds are probably scared to sprout!<\/p>\n
