This is what we started with in the Tea Garden…lots of sand. We planted a few flowering bushes, ornamental banana, iris, etc. and built a firepit area with an ornamental wood grill. The house faces east so the are gets morning sun all year round. In the summer the afternoon sun is quite strong, tracking a bit lower in the winter. There are those days in between (Spring and Fall) that the weather is perfect for using this pleasant little outdoor space for tea sipping.<\/p>\n
