{"id":3681,"date":"2017-12-03T20:10:16","date_gmt":"2017-12-03T20:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bentpinefarm.org\/?p=3681"},"modified":"2018-07-10T14:35:55","modified_gmt":"2018-07-10T14:35:55","slug":"snapshot-fall-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bentpinefarm.org\/?p=3681","title":{"rendered":"Snapshot Fall 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re into December, and it&#8217;s going to be a mild winter, they say.\u00a0 Temps have been in the 80&#8217;s for most of November, sometimes high 80&#8217;s.\u00a0 \u00a0More recently we&#8217;ve been enjoying 70&#8217;s, but still not much rain since Hurricane Irma in Sept.<\/p>\n<p>It was way too hot for a garden in the summer (high 90&#8217;s most days&#8230;even the plate flowers wilted! ) The Fall garden looks a little better, if we can keep ahead of the wild rabbits and the ants!<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a peek at some of the goings-on at Bent Pine Farm this past Fall 2017&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EV79tvPMWis\" frameborder=\"0\" gesture=\"media\" allow=\"encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So much we&#8217;ve learned and so much to learn! Join us in the New Year for our<strong> &#8216;Lost Arts&#8217; Workshops<\/strong>. Try your hand at some of the artisan crafts that are almost lost to the younger generations.
