The fodder is growing well in the greenhouse. Drill holes in the small plastic trays for drainage. Soak the seeds overnight and keep moist. They take a couple of days to germinate and are ready to serve in 6-7 days.
Barley grows thicker than oats…
The Duck pond continues to improve. Winter rye is growing nicely and holding the banking. In the next day or two we will be able to let the ducks and geese back into the pond area. They love their pool but are so tired of the small pen at poolside.
The bees have done a wonderful job for the summer garden. Now they are hungry and have eaten the three frames from the top super. We added the sugar water and they seem fine.
