The iris in the Tea Garden are happy and blooming wildly. Perhaps it is because they are surrounded by the Creeping Thyme, much of which is newly planted in the Tea Garden Brick Walk, which has been getting watered regularly. The drought continues…our Arizona Cypress along the east fence line are struggling to remain green. They are visibly parched. So, the iris are thanking their lucky stars that they live in the Tea Garden instead of out by the road…(they also don’t have to deal with grazing goats!)
The Tea Garden Project which we started in 2016 continues with a new Tea Pavilion. We painted a tarp cover and Seth built a table for the space. It’s Lily’s favorite spot to take Fluffy and Peanut, the two bunnies, to play.
Check out this fence that went up in just a couple of hours. See if you can find the avocado tree that the goats almost ate away! We’ll put a wildflower patch in the Barnyard Pasture and an outdoor space under the oak trees for tea on nice days.
