Here’s Seth creating a veggie smoothie for us all for lunch. He’s using the Kefir milk as a base and then adding veggies instead of fruit like we do in the mornings. It tasted just like V-8 without all the nasties.

Harvesting the “White Gold”- Kefir
This is a wonderful organic source of calcium for improved bone density and overall health. Add to any recipe that would use milk, cream, buttermilk, etc.
The Kefir grains (scoffed from a friend) start the process. You must harvest everyday and keep 2 TBSP to grow more. Harvest again in 24 hours. Keep the amount that you will use everyday in the fridge. Refrigerate the starter grains to stop the growth.
