We lost Katie to coyotes this past week. We are very sad, and we miss her…but not as much as Emma does! We got two new goats to keep her company, but so far she’s not having it.
We finally had to partition the goat pen for separate sleeping arrangements. Emma really misses Katie, and the new gals “Bessie” and “Bella” just can’t replace her…yet.
This past week we got this terrific huge pile of really good pine and oak mulch. We’ve been covering bare ground spots with it all week. It will work out very well for rebuilding the sandy, sandy soil…
