The fodder is growing well in the greenhouse. Drill holes in the small plastic trays for drainage. Soak the seeds overnight and keep moist. They take a couple of days to germinate and are ready to serve in 6-7 days.
Growing buckwheat for a cover crop. This year the plants got about 8-10 inches tall. We have been feeding the greens to the goats and rabbits and letting some go to seed…harvested about 1/2 lb for next year, so far. It’s hard to separate the seeds from the chaff.
