Emma’s two little ones were more active today, Day Two. Emma is anxious to get out and stretch.
More goats to come as Katy Two, Baby, and Cow prepare to kid, each for the first time.
Happy Homesteading,

Emma gave birth yesterday to her second set of twins. We won’t name them until they are a bit bigger and we can see a little of their personalities. Emma is our Dwarf Nigerian and a twin herself. Last year we lost her sister Katy when they were off property at the breeders. Read the post . Post 2 Weaning at six weeks this time. We should get more milk this time around, since the others are going to kid any day now, too!

Here are the goats again, with the two kids Katy-Too and Half & Half. The kids are growing like crazy, and are the loudest voices on the range at afternoon snack time!
