The newest flock of Pekin Ducks were hatched June 4th. At three days they moved from the incubator to the Cricken Choop. Today June 15th they moved outside into the holding cage, situated in the Goose Pen.
Here are their relatives enjoying the rebuilt Duck Pond. This is what they have to look forward to. Their view of the rebuilt pond is perfect from where they currently sit. They will have time to get to see the family in action, and anticipate the future.
We put out another new sign today. Unfortunately, if you look quick it looks like the farm is for sale !! …had to switch it around

We’re selling Pekin Ducks and baby Bunnies. The Pekins are Giant breed. You can almost watch them grow!
The Bunnies are New Zealand and California mix. Gestation is 21 days. This is the second time around for each of the two Moms. So they did better this time, creating a nest out of the woodchips and their own fur. They each had 3 the first time. This time one had three and the other seven! That’s more like it!
