Last week we had Hurricane Matthew move up the east coast of Florida after wreaking havoc in the islands.  On the west coast where we are, there was some rain and high winds, but we were fortunate to miss the worst of it.

Folks from the East Coast and Central Florida were all evacuated… a traumatic experience, I’m sure.  Hopefully everyone moved safely out of the line of fire and there was minimal damage to people’s homes.    After everything settled down, a tree that had gotten hit by lightning in the last storm fell over in the front yard!   Florida Weather…gotta love it!
