Fixing the Milking Stand with Free Download

So, what needed to be done exactly to fix the goat milking stand?   What was the problem?

We have to admit it was not a problem for the goats.  They thought that the mobility of the milking stand was great fun!    All the goats, especially Half & Half,  truly enjoyed  toppling the stand onto its side and pushing it around the barnyard.

The technique was to get up under it as it stood upright and, after a good back scratch, push up and dump it over on its side.  What could make more sense if you wanted to butt and shove something really big and heavy around for 20 minutes or so?

Not boring like the stationery ladder or the hay platform…things that don’t move.

What we ended up doing was sinking 4 posts in the ground and screwing the legs of the stand to each post.  The first time Half & Half hit the stand after that installation, he got a surprise!    They haven’t been able to knock it over since.

Goats are natural climbers.  They need surfaces to climb on and jump from.  And they love to dance…
