This is a trick that we learned on Poirot, who had been taught how to peel a mango “by a duke”. It comes in handy for the kefir smoothies.

Mid October and the figs are ripe. Not terribly sweet, but good.

Figs and peppers…not together! But they are both doing well. Banana peppers are a good crop for summer.
