Major, our canary, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Nov 24th 2016.  He enjoyed eating broccoli and his millet strings. He loved taking a bath in fresh water and would always wait until the sun came around and shone into the cage. He napped facing to look out the window and slept at night facing the other direction. He would puff himself up and nestle his beak under his wing. I am sad to think that I never took any pictures of Major. We enjoyed his cheery and musical company for 9 years.  We will miss him.
