The Iris are confused by all the warm weather. They are madly blooming as if it’s the warmth of Spring that they feel. The apple trees feel the same, and the amazon lily.

The unseasonably warm weather seems to work against us, but not really.  We learn to adapt to the definite climate change that is upon us.  This year we plan to build hoop houses, not only to extend the growing season, but also to save the tender veggie plants from the few frigid nights that we anticipate.  There is no way to avoid just enough of those to damage the crops.  They will become fewer and fewer as the climate continues to change.
